Yet, despite being at the forefront of cultural innovation, their work is frequently appropriated, commodified, or erased. This piece delves into the duality of that experience—how Black women are simultaneously celebrated and exploited, desired yet dismissed.

"TW: Fake Body" is a surreal oil painting that explores the psychological weight of body dysmorphia and the societal obsession with beauty standards. Through exaggerated features like inflated lips, distorted proportions, and tangled body parts, the piece reflects the unnatural ideals imposed on women, especially Black women, in digital and pop culture spaces. The body becomes a landscape of illusion where the line between what is desirable and what is real begins to blur.

This piece delves into the corrosive nature of greed, exploring how it distorts and taints the essence of those it consumes. brushwork and surreal imagery, I invite the viewer to reflect on the way ambition and desire can overshadow authenticity and compassion. The painting challenges the idea that wealth or power can truly enhance one's beauty, instead revealing how greed leaves a mark that is anything but desirable.
